🐅🐅🐅 Jungle Cats is the first painting in my Two Cats series, and it marks my entrance into the “jungle” of entrepreneurship as an artist. A desire to introduce myself & connect to my community & culture inspired the creation of these bright magenta tigers. My connection to this animal is woven through many aspects of my being as it symbolizes my pride to be part Chinese & the celebration of my birth in the year of the tiger. Using a vibrant & unnatural color palette allows me to break away from what is traditionally expected of my subject matter, and focus on the details, textures, and concepts that build the story on my canvas. As a limited print, I hope these Jungle Cats will serve as a colorful reminder to put yourself out there & share your story! 🐅
